My wife had always dreamed about a getaway in a cabin during winter since she is from a tropical island. Being a treehouse, this was an added bonus. Very impressed with the amount of detail that went into the design. The hosts were extremely gracious and even allowed us to check in early since we were driving all the way from FL. Would love to come back and experience it in the summertime. We had a lovely stay at the tree house. It's an unusual and well-designed place (so impressed with the construction!) with private access in the back yard of the hosts' house. It's not a large space but great for two people, and we found it very comfortable and enjoyable. There is a lovely view from the balcony out across the trees. The tree house is warm and cosy, with all the facilities we needed for our short visit, and it was a great base for our hiking plans around Mount Monadnock. An extra treat during our stay was deer in the yard one morning (and turkeys). Some notes: Pics are a little out of date in terms of contents, there is more than shown (especially in the kitchen area) Wifi is good! There is no TV (but see Wifi....) The kitchen area is small and the only cooking appliance is a toaster oven. We made it work but if you like to cook meals you may want to bear that in mind. There is also an outdoor fire pit that can in principle be used for cooking, but we didn't try this.
