"Everything was tidy and spotless, but there was a smell in the room and although sheets were crisp and everything looked "clean" the smell alone made it feel unhygienic. I can't put my finger on what the smell was though.
The TV in the bedroom also wouldn't connect to the WiFi so we only had a few free to air channels to watch in that room, while the lounge room TV was working fine.
The restaurant and bar were convenient. Some dishes weren't great but it was a cosy atmosphere."

A very tastefully renovated in Art Deco style small hotel, centrally located within the town. A great restaurant with good choices and friendly staff. Breakfast was not included in room rate but very reasonably priced. Parking at rear of hotel is limited but council car park is directly across the lane and plentiful. Happy to recommend and will stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the house as soon as we pulled up, and the stay was very pleasant. The management was very responsive and helpful, and they provided all the amenities we needed to cook, including a barbecue, which we enjoyed. The quality of the house felt high for the price, and the house was within walking distance to shops and a large grocery store. Solid all around - we wished we had more time to stay there!

Great quiet, convenient place for our 2 night stay. The unit had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was a bit too firm for our liking, but otherwise everything was excellent.
