" We loved the quiet and seclusion of this little place. It was well worth the 50 minute drive to the Creation Museum and the 90 minute drive to the Ark Encounter. We came back to peace after being around crowds all day. The kitchen was well furnished with all we needed for enjoying our homemade meals. We especially enjoyed the plush white towels and bedding! We would definitely stay here again!"

We especially loved the wraparound porch that let us take in the sights and sounds of nature at every turn.The setting is truly serene. Surrounded by tall trees and tucked away from the noise of the world, the only sounds we heard were birdsong, a distant owl at night, and the rustle of leaves in the breeze. Whether sipping coffee in the morning mist, roasting marshmellows in the firepit, or fishing in the lake, we felt completely renewed.John was a gracious host—responsive and kind. The hiking trails on the property and scenic drives made it easy to explore the beauty of Hoosier National Forest.If you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature (or with each other), this cabin is a hidden gem.
