Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.
If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!
You will have full access to:
• Entire 3BR/2BA home
• Living room + kitchen
• Laundry room

• Smart TV + fast Wi-Fi
★ Easy check-in and so much space, we felt right at home!
Trashcans located at the street in front of the property.
The rhythm of New Orleans pulses just outside your door - and when you're ready to slow down, a private pool and a fully fenced backyard are waiting. This Mid-City home puts you steps from the Canal Streetcar and minutes from everything the city does best, whether you're here for festival season, a family trip, or just a long overdue escape.
Living space
Natural light moves through the home throughout the day, giving the common areas a warm, easy feel. A ceiling fan keeps things comfortable, and the dedicated workspace - set in a room with a door - means you can take care of business without sacrificing your surroundings. Fast WiFi keeps everyone connected, and the HDTV is ready when you're done exploring.
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms offer plush beds dressed in soft linens, with room-darkening shades and central air conditioning keeping nights cool and restful. Clothing storage throughout - including a walk-in closet - means you can actually unpack. This is a single-level home with no stairs, making it easy for every member of the group to move around comfortably.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is set up for real cooking - a Frigidaire refrigerator, GE electric stove, GE single oven, microwave, and dishwasher cover the essentials, while pots and pans, cooking basics, dishes, silverware, a baking sheet, and a toaster handle the details. Start mornings with the drip coffee maker and gather everyone at the dining table when it's time to eat in.
Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. Both include a bathtub and hot water - everything you need after a full day in the city.
Outdoor living
The private above-ground pool is open year-round, 24 hours, with pool toys included. The fully fenced backyard gives you privacy and room to breathe, while the patio or balcony is a natural spot to start the morning or wind down in the evening. Free street parking means coming and going is never a hassle.
Family & extras
Families traveling with little ones can request a pack 'n play/travel crib or a folding high chair at no extra step - just ask. Babysitter recommendations are also available. In-unit washer and dryer, iron, and cleaning products keep longer stays running smoothly. The home accommodates stays of 28 days or more for those settling in for a while.
Neighborhood
Mid-City is one of New Orleans' most livable neighborhoods - local cafés, po'boy shops, and Trader Joe's are all nearby. The Lafitte Greenway runs close for biking and walking, and the Canal Streetcar connects you directly to the French Quarter, Superdome, Bourbon Street, and City Park. During Mardi Gras, the Endymion parade route passes right outside.
