Check in is at 4; arrived 15:30 after a long flight, asked if it could check in earlier, and they came up with a bs story of not having the key, as the host had to come to drop them… I asked if we could do the paperwork so I could get to the room at 16h00, and they said it was not possible, as it was possible they might have to assign us to another room. I was left standing there, in front of the counter, suddenly, 10 past 16h00, without any host coming to drop any keys, the guy opened an envelope with my name, took out a key and began the paperwork, got into the room at 16:40, unnecessary delayed… The room is shabby; curtains hang in front of the a/c blocking it, no rack to dry dishes after washing, no cloth to dry them either. Wi-fi costs $5 per night, bought it first night and did not work, guy at lobby said the routers sometimes hang and need to be reset, but could not refund my money. Got the common / shared bathroom option because I did not read the description properly, no complains about that, my fault; but bathrooms are a mess, not even paper or dryer after you wash your hands. All in all, not worth the price, you can get better places for the same money.

The customer service at this hotel was unfortunately terrible. My friend and I had a bus that got delayed several hours because of bad weather and we missed the check-in time. We called the hotel and explained that we were going to arrive later than planned, and the lady on the phone was extremely unhelpful and rude. She kept saying in a mean tone that we would lose our booking for all our four nights (that we payed beforehand) because we could not show up on time, and also that she had other more important calls than ours. Then she ended the call while I was still talking. When we finally arrived, the people at the reception said that we would have to find somewhere else to stay. So we had to walk around for half a day in the city worrying if we could find any place to stay for the rest of our week, because it was difficult finding new accommodation in such a short notice. It’s all just frustrating, because we’re just two 19 year old girls that could not control that the bus was late.

No paper towels in restrooms and showers were dirty! Asking for a cash deposit after already paying online for bill before check in. No tv control and extra 25 dollars for an extra key. People no friendly in the front desk. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

This property was pretty good for what we were looking for. As a young married couple celebrating our one year anniversary married we decided we wanted to go visit the big apple. This hotel was located about 20 minute walk away from time square and had very quick access to subway stations. We could tell it wasn’t the best area as far as safety but luckily we didn’t run into any trouble. During the day is fine but at night homeless hangout around the front or on the road and it’s not very well lit. However that’s probably anywhere in NY with how big their homeless population is. They left us alone all of our stay though. When we first arrived it was a little tricky to find as it wasn’t well advertised they have a small sign on the door but otherwise we walked by it at least twice before realizing it was right in front of us. Lol there is a cute little donut shop right next door and some really good food carts at either end of its block as well. The room it self was small but again it’s NY and the bathrooms are shared bathrooms with shower stall and bathroom stalls. I am not one that minds sharing facilities BUT I wish it were more set up to be used that way. There wasn’t anywhere to put your products, clothing and not even a spot to comfortably hang your towel which was a down fall for me but otherwise I think we got what we payed for. We only used it to sleep and didn’t have any other issues! I would think about staying here again but it may not be my first choice!
