It’s a Marriott, so it is better than other options. But the area is a side street that ends at 1st Ave and the FDR drive, which is congested. The eateries are adequate but older, and in need of some investment and upgrade. Homeless individuals are less than midtown but still populate the area.

Overall was good but one of the front staff female was not courteous at all . She was not behaving good since some of my credit cards were declined so she gave me a cols shoulder while she was behaving candidly with other guests. Breakfast optiin was not there so its a negative also parking option was v expensive by this property. Regardss

My only problem with this location is lack of a parking lot and I get it that it’s because of space/real estate limitations or constraints. Guess this explains the smaller guest rooms also…! The Marriott brand has been my preference for some time and it very seldom fails to live up to its high standards especially by way of cleanliness, safety and serenity.

I would place 5 in cleanliness but I saw a lot of dust in the lampshade and the light near the window. They gave us a lot of towels though. Upper east side is a nice area quite like the suburbs in Chicago. Overall I gave a 4.

I was meeting with friends in the Upper East Side so this hotel location was convenient. It is easy to get to using public transportation - I took a NYC bus from LGA and only had to switch buses once. Departed from Newark and it was easy to get to Grand Cental Station for the EWR shuttle. The Q subway line is 2 blocks away.
