Happy to have a swim before going out into the heat. Loved walking around the hoods and not stuck in the center. So much more interesting and authentic. Wonderful staff and lifeguard!

Pool closed too early and the fact that kids are not allowed after 11 am is ridiculous. Pool closes too early at 6pm. There should be an adult time maybe from 8-10 pm at least. I came for the pool and had my 2 teen grand daughters with me. I spent alot of money to make this trip happne. The bathrroms need an upgrade awa the carpet in the hallway. Otherwise a nice place but i wont come back unless pool hours are extended and a few upgrades

This hotel was fantastic when it was new, it’s getting run down and yet the price is still above 400… the shower was a little grimy. Security made u empty ur pockets before u entered the club and I was asked to coat check something that I need to have on me at all times to treat my DIabetes. Yet I watched a guy pass drugs to his girlfriend right in front of me.

I loved that the Dream made me feel like I was away on vacation even though I was on a staycation. PhD was super nice to watch the fireworks. All the security guards were friendly and nice to talk to. That rooftop stayed jumping ! I enjoyed people watching as they stood online from the balcony. Room was really cute and housekeeping did a really good job. Finding free street parking was a plus. Near everything - perfect location.

The property has a bar/club onsite which causes for crowds. Hard to get in and out of the hotel at night. The room was fine, although we did notice mold on the shower curtain and a hole in the bedsheets. The hotel is conveniently located and the staff were very friendly, just a very high traffic vibe.

Prison like feel. Very unwelcoming. Also, additional charges for pool usage and pretty much everything. Staff was unwelcoming and bothered to help. We had single pillows on our beds and asked for 2 additional and were told they ran out. We avoided our hotel and stayed out as much as we could - which is the complete opposite of what you would want for a stay.

This hotel nearly ruined our vacation. From the start, it was not advertised that we would have to struggle through crowds at night just to get in the building based on their have the PhD nightclub in the building. As a guest, we constantly felt treated poorly because we are not there to be at the nightclub, but instead, just wanted to go to our room. There was a constant issue with getting ice. There are not machines; you have to call the front desk and have room service bring ice to you. The issue here is that 1/2 the time, the front desk never picks up, nor does the room service line, so we have to go down to the desk to ask. We did this 3 times. 1st time, it too almost 3 hours to get ice, and this was after having to call down twice (at hour 1 of waiting, and 1 hour and 45 min of waiting). The front desk finally gave up and brought it themselves. This was not a fluke – the same exact scenario played out each of 3 times we wanted ice. We finally just gave up and accepted that we were not going to have anything cold to drink in the room, despite this supposedly being a “nicer” hotel. Early in the visit, the ceiling begin pouring water into the room. We had to sit for about an hour with maintenance in the ceiling, ladders in the room, etc. They said it was something with the AC, and assured us that it would not happen again during the duration of our stay. Happened a 2nd time, at 2 am! Mgt did not work with us and refused to talk to Expedia (3 calls) to help make it right
