Stay away! Myself and another family booked double bed rooms and were stuck with one full size bed the entire stay and without any other option to sleep on other than floor. I was promised a solution and did not happen. I was promised compensation and did not happen. Phone calls remain unreturned. Very dirty and the lobby smelled like someone literally just finished smoking a blunt inside of it - it was in the air; not coming from a person.

This place was nice except that the air conditioning didn't work as well. We stayed in this hotel in the middle of summer and the A/C didn't seem to be working well. It didn't cool the room down enough. Other than that the place was ok. We had cleaning service everyday which was nice. The staff was helpful when we needed additional amenities. The location was good. It was close to a lot of restaurants and the Empire State Building.

nice, small, fresh hotel. Pretty clean, convenient location. Easy to check in/out. cons: - loud noise from outside at night, loud air conditioner in the room, if you turn it off and open the window loud noise outside from air conditioner from the building across the street. - hotel reception is not responsive. I asked for third set of towels (we had 3 people in the room), it never happened. Asked for it every day, but they keep saying it will be in your room, but never happened. - i had to ask to give us beddings for 3rd person as well, even they knew the room booked for 3.

This posting is a lie. Do not be fooled. They have two buildings in this hotel, and one is clearly newer than the other. The pictures in this listing belong to the newer. They don’t tell you where you’ll be put. The older building was unsafe and dirty. There wasn’t even a lobby, just a desk. The walls were scrapped and stained. The bathroom was minimally clean and the AC didn’t work. The rooms in the older building look nothing like the pictures. It looks like an old motel rather than a $200 a night hotel. The staff was rude and I felt very unsafe approaching them to ask for a change. They denied my change of room because they said the night staff didn’t have access to the bookings. It was an overall very, very bad experience. Ended up leaving to another hotel because my door wouldn’t lock properly.
