There were no toiletries for the shower which is ok if you brought own. But only had one little bar of soap for sink and shower. Not Hotels fault but surrounding area a little dirty and shady characters. But excellent room and view. Would stay again.

Good location on the edge of Chinatown and Little Italy. Tiny lobby with small registration desk with large plexiglass divider between me and the very nice gentleman checking me in. Very basic decor, no place to sit, felt like a methadone clinic. Luggage being held by “concierge” (same guy) stacked along hall, very cramped. Tiny rooms. Photos online are deceiving. Great shower didn’t make up for no amenities.

We booked a corner double room with more windows for a better view. When we checked in we were told a corner double wasn't available. The hinges on the wardrobe for coats was broken. I thought the door was going to fall off. I probably wouldn't recommend staying there if another hotel was available...:(

We stayed there for 2 full weeks. Arrival - our room was not ready at 3:45pm (check-in is at 3pm). The elevator was broken and we needed to haul our 3 heavy bags up 6 floors with 0 offer to help from the staff. The room was OK, nothing like the pictures, looks more dated. No convenient wall plugs, bad lighting, and the AC/Heater doesn't work for the entire hotel. It get warm during the day (especially when you have to take the stairs) and very cold at night. They provide a tiny space heater that doesn't really do anything. The blankets were paper thin too. The shower pressure was low and when multiple guests in the hotel shower at the same time, the pressure drops to a drip. The hotel staff said this is normal. There was a phone mounted outside our room that kept ringing SUPER LOUDLY every morning from 7-9am, and randomly throughout the day. This, of course, woke us up every morning. Upon complaining, we were told, again, this is normal. As if this wasn't enough, the cleaning ladies also chatted SUPER LOUDLY right outside our room every morning. The staff was terrible - unwelcoming, mad faces, won't do the bare minimum, and were not accommodating. Some of the staff also never wore masks, which is insane for an NYC hotel, especially during the discovery of this new Omicron variant. Finally, after a long 2 week stay, we asked for late checkout on the last day. You guessed it - $50 extra charge and not guaranteed based on availability. We ended up leaving a night earlier.
