to make a long story short, save yourself and don’t come here.
checked in, went up the janky elevator that didn’t feel safe, walked through the tight halls with rooms on top of each other, and finally reached our room. We open the door and we’re immediately confused as this wasn’t what i paid for. the room was maybe 10 x 10 sq ft with a small desk, tv, and window with a brick wall view. felt small even for two people. the king size bed was placed in the middle of the room making it feel even smaller. on each side was a bedside table, two lamps “mounted” on the wall, however one was hanging. crammed in the corner was a small bathroom with what looked like a dorm style square shower. in addition the toilet made a disturbing hissing sound. of course we called the front desk with complaints, and all they could do was say the manager could talk to us in the morning.
eventually he called back and told us we could be relocated to a bigger room. So we took it, went in, and it started to look like what i booked. however upon further inspection, we were quickly disappointed. there’s so many bad things to say about the second room but i don’t have space to list them all. basically the walls, floor, bedsheets, towels, and bedside tables were dirty. one had a used notebook in it, paired with a broken lamp. shower had hair in it, all the trash cans were used. front desk said there was no more bed sheets, and they couldn’t give me clean towels because housekeeping left.
