“We had a lovely week away. The cottage was well situated for things we wanted to do. Paul across the road we met as we were leaving was very friendly and checked that everything with our stay was ok. He doesn’t have a car so parking on his drive worked really well (I was worry we would have to keep moving the car/get trapped in.) and we were able to get to our car whenever we needed it. Tescos is a 5 min walk and town is very close. There is a nice play park just across the road and Alfreton...

“A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need. Cosy and warm. Great walks from the door, beautiful area with all that the Derbyshire dales has to offer. There is a friendly pub across the road where we enjoyed a pint but only serving meals at weekends currently. 10 minute walk into the village where another pub, also friendly (the black swan) serves food but with a limited menu. There is an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal one of...
