Expected a continental b'fast. So lovely scrambled eggs and bacon were a bonus. "Beautiful building, converted to a high end finish with lots of character. Staff were all outstanding, especially the girls on reception, who were very attentive and accommodating. "The Property is pleasant and in a great location. The staff are nice and proficient at their jobs. The lady who runs the restaurant is particularly nice and very accommodating. The pricing of the hotel is reasonable. I can’t help feeling though that the hotel could be so much more given the grand nature of the building. The rooms are ok but simple improvements would make all the difference; a lick of paint, clean carpets, proper wardrobes, proper showers in the bathrooms etc. They have a huge room which is on the raised ground floor, with a spectacular ceiling height. With some proper thought this could be turned in to a fantastic hotel lounge, a source of considerable income, however at the moment it’s sparsely populated with a few chairs.…""The Property is pleasant and in a great location.
