"The atmosphere of this lovely hotel just steps away from a college campus is serene, almost meditative. Walkways lead to quiet waters and around stately old buildings. Interior is pristine and colorful, with amenities and plentiful seating for solo guests or groups of every size. Highly recommended."

"This a clean, basic hotel that seems geared for longer term stays. We were just there for 3 days. The front desk is only manned from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. However, there was someone on call to check us in for our late arrival when we arrived. The room was clean and provided what we needed, though amenities are very limited."

"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not high enough for a Sunday/Monday evening stay, so it makes sense. Highly recommend the Morris Estate, would love to come back and stay with a few other couples!"
