"Lovely, suburban retreat close to Metro."
Relais 6 is indeed a retreat nestled in a quiet Italian suburb just a few Metro stops away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. The atmosphere is serene and homey, and the staff are not only professional, but they are all welcoming and friendly.

"Excellent hotel in quiet location."
This hotel is a quiet, residential location, set back off the main road, and is decorated in an old style Italian opulence. The room was small, probably because of the huge and very comfortable bed in it but the furnishings and fittings were all excellent, with a shower that could strip barnacles from a boat if needed. Our favourite feature was the start to the day, a wonderfully filling breakfast on the linen covered roof looking out over the skyline to the mountains beyond. Rome is best explored by walking - the times you pass down an anonymous side street and appear in a square with a Roman ruin or a classic fountain are magical. Be advised that this hotel is 20 minutes walk on the wrong side of Termini from the main attractions. It didn't bother us but it might some, and there is a Metro station just 200 metres away from it if you want to travel underground. Lovely hotel and staff, though!

"Fantastic hotel! Great location and great value!"
We could not be happier with our stay at the Fenix Hotel. Our room was spacious, the amenities were great and they even provide a fabulous breakfast buffet for FREE! This hotel is also 500m away from the local metro, which is a quick and convenient ride to all the major attractions in Rome, such as the Colleseum and the Vatican. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!!!

"Nice hotel,"
Nice hotel , 24hr grocery store on next block, outside of the hustle bussel of the city which was nice to get away from the sirens. Beautiful garden to have coffee in morning. The only complaint was the male at from desk very helpful, the young blonde had no time for anyone, didn't even acknowledge you when you walked past, not good for being front reception..
