“Wonderful redesign of an old mill property, leaving details/structures within to be appreciated. That said, the architects did not take into account the control of noise from the hallways which didn't have carpeted flooring (about half of the first floor).
The ceilings, walls & floors are all hard surfaces, allowing noises like the ice machine "dropping a new batch", or suitcases bumping along on the floor, or doors closing, etc. to be readily heard inside guest rooms in those hallways. ……
