The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I appreciate that they had options for lighting including soft, warm light by the bedside not just one super harsh, bright, cool, overhead light that I've seen in so many hotels in Vietnam. Complimentary self-serve laundry in the basement was so convenient. The breakfast was pretty good. The staff were so attentive and helpful! We were having trouble making our plans to go to Ta Xua so they gave us a contract for that; we needed an item we couldn't...

Wonderful staff and thoughtful service What stood out most about our stay at May De Ville Lumiere was the excellent service. The staff were warm, attentive and proactive in helping us throughout our stay. When we had an early bus and couldn’t stay for breakfast, they thoughtfully packed food for us to take away. We really appreciated that extra care. The room felt a little smaller than we had expected, but to be fair, the size in square metres was clearly listed on Expedia before we booked, so...

The hotel is located in the old town next to all the attractions. The location is great, the hotel is very nice and clean. The breakfast is amazing and the rooftop bar is spectacular. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, Lan speaks good English and always ready to help, she scheduled a 3 days trip for us from A to Z, thank you Lan. I am highly recommend the hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, they are not big but give you everything you need. Shower are great.

My wife and I were overwhelmed by many aspects of our stay - the warm and helpful staff, the condition of our junior suite, the food at the restaurant (breakfast buffet and prix fix lunch) and the overall ambiance. The only problem was that ours was a street facing room and after a late night check-in at 7 am we were blasted out of bed by a loudspeaker broadcasting "community announcements". (This is after all, still a nominally communist country!) Hotel staff felt badly and extended our check...

Excellent location. Warm and helpful staff. Lovely rooms. Fabulous breakfast. We would stay again.

This is the best hotel in Hanoi. Location is excellent. Our room was so quiet we did not hear any of the street noise. Everything was immaculately clean. The staff were so lovely, especially Daria at the front desk - so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 10/10, so many options at the buffet plus an additional a la cart menu that was all included - eggs made to order, vegetarian bun cha, many Vietnamese options as well as western. Highly recommend!

Cute, clean and service oriented! We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and helpful.

The hotel is modern with clean spacious rooms and bathrooms. It is in a quiet location. The staff are extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly

Very clean, great food and excellent service provided by all the staffs. Inside the hotel, everything is perfect. But once you step out the hotel, you immediately feel walking into the different world. Dirty, narrow streets occupied by lots of shady houses and small businesses shops. You will probably woke up very early morning by the loud talking from the streets. You probably will hear some old guys singing off key. Now I understand why the hotel provide guests with earplugs. We booked the...

I stayed here for three nights, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The location is perfect—within walking distance of all the must-see attractions. Breakfast was included with the room, and it was always fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Peter, who gave me some fantastic recommendations for restaurants and cafes, which truly enhanced my trip. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.!

An excuisite experience all around!

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and our room was always clean. They let us store our luggage after checkout because our flight was at night, giving us time to explore more of Hanoi before leaving. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Hanoi, especially because of the wonderful staff!

Can't say enough good things about our stay here! Extremely professional and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Great location as well. 10 out of 10 for everything!

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms was perfect

Great hotel, charming, spacious and an escape from the motorbikes and thriving hustle and bustle. The staff makes this experience greater then can be described. Stayed here for 4 nights and won't stay anywhere else in Hanoi.
