Melia Hanoi
Large & clean rooms, professional staff, good facilities (although the jacuzzi wasn’t working in the spa), amazing breakfast. Definitely highly recommended. Good location about 10-12mins walk from the centre of the old quarter, train street and Hoan Kiem lake.

L’HÔTEL du LAC Hanoi
Rooms were small but well kept and efficient. Breakfast had a nice variety of options and once again the staff was excellent. Super central to many locations in the Old quarter. The rooftop bar was nice.

Oakwood Residence Hanoi
We stayed here for five nights mainly for sight seeing. The property was nice. The staff was friendly. We chose West Lake for quietness. We were disappointed that there was no prior communication about the big construction in front of the hotel - apparently it will go on for a year or more. It was ...

MoonLight Tay Ho
Spacious clean apartment with king bed, kitchen, washer dryer. Close to a quieter but trendier more upscale neighbourhood than the old quarter. Free scooter parking in the garage below.
