"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Villa Russell. The balcony views to the bay were both beautiful and relaxing. The room was large with a king sized bed and good quality linen and towels. The room had a small kitchen with fridge microwave, kettle etc . Breakfast items were located in the fridge. We enjoyed the simple breakfast of cereal, toast, fruits and yoghurt. Sue, our host was very helpful. "

"Michael and Chris (and all of their animals) are expert hosts with a beautiful property and everything that you could ask for. We really enjoyed spending a bit of time with them and genuinely think that their bnb was the best accommodation we stayed in on our entire 3 week long honeymoon. They're incredibly knowledge about the area, with impeccable recommendations, and the house is well situated for plenty of activities. "From the moment you drive down the driveway you know you are in for the biggest treat. Beautifully crafted stand alone units with high end attention to detail will delight any visitor. It’s the wonderful hosts Graeme and Lisa that complete an all together wonderful stay. Ahuru Lodge has been created with every travellers detail in mind see the cinema….Our breakfast was excellent and so spoilt with Lisa’s coffee! The only negative is that we had to head back home. Can’t wait for the next visit. "

"My traveling pal and I had the entire lodge to ourselves. We loved the property. Sadly we did not bring anything to eat and all the vendors were closed before we arrived. Thankfully there was a bag of potatoe chips at the outside bar. That was our meal for the day. Please let guests know how winding and without light the approaching roads are. Jack the cat was sweet. It would be a nightmare parking with more guests. The gated parking is too tight to maneuver in with 3 cars let alone 6. We...

"A wonderful country retreat midway between Langs Beach and Weipu. Our room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. Our hosts, Lisa and Antony, were very attentive to our needs and made us feel very welcome. A scrumptious continental breakfast is provided with all of the makings being homemade. Two very scenic walking trails are a short distance away. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the farm and recommend it to those visiting the North Island of New Zealand"
