Good Motel, give it a try at least....

Posted Sep 11, 2017
I have read some of this Motel's reviews and honestly some of them is bad, but we have had a whole different experience. Since we stay in Florida and was stuck in Connecticut thanks to hurricane IRMA,most of the hotels was booked due to this and this Motel has been our "home" for a couple af days, we (me, my two little kids and husband) did not know what the hurricane was going to do and had only booked one or two nights at a time, we ended up here for a week now and the motel staff didnt have any problem with us booking another day. The rooms was cleaned everyday and somedays I didnt want our room to be cleaned and when the cleaning lady saw me she asked me if she could clean the next day, they are polite and nice people. Breakfast isnt that great, but you know, at least they are offering something. Yes the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours and people staying on the second floor, but be greatful that you have a roof and thin walls to protect you from the cold or whatever is outside. I would say give this motel a chance, its not a New York type of hotel but for the price it is worth it.

So-So

Posted Jun 27, 2017 on Hotels
When riding down Westport Avenue, if we didn't have our GPS on, we would have missed the hotel. Signage was poor. The exterior was a little run down, but our room looked nice when we first walked in. Then, there was a fork on the floor behind the door. The couch was old and had burn marks on the seat. It must have sagged in, because it was hard and when we lifted the pillow, there was an ironing board underneath the pillow. The sheet also had holes in it. The furniture was old and the handle was missing from the desk drawer. But, the worst of it was that when we flushed the toilet, the water went to the top of the bowl before going down. Since we were in a hurry to leave for a wedding, we didn't report the toilet problem to the young lady at the front desk until the morning and she told us that there wouldn't be anyone in to fix it until that evening. After breakfast, we needed to use the toilet so I asked if there was another room where we could use the toilet and she said she would send in the housekeeper, who came with a plunger and finally corrected the problem so that we were able to use the toilet. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was adequate.

The complementary breakfasts needs to improve becouse every day you can't eat begel and waffles or bread toasts..Egg perception must help people for better choice.

Horrible room! I could NOT stay!!! I left, minutes

Posted May 18, 2017
Pros: Are you kidding? I liked NOTHING!!! I only liked driving away!!!
Cons: They should renovate the rooms, hiring a cleaning staff, hire a maintenance staff to fix/repair/replace things that are Non-operable, and provided fro
Location: They advertised that they were closer to my funeral location than the actually were. They should be accurate and precise for visitors to plan.
Horrible room! I could NOT stay!!! I left, minutes after entering the room. It was FILTHY! There was grime on the TV remote - I couldn't even touch it. Nothing worked. The hairdryer did not turn on - the safe would not even close - there was NO coffee maker, although one was promised in the posting. This was supposed to be a NON-Smoking room, and yet there were CIGARETTE burns in the bedspreads! Yes, CIGARETTE BURNS!!! I went, immediately, to the office/front desk, to tell them I was NOT going to stay, and to CANCEL my booking. NO ONE was there! I called and shouted, but NO ONE came. So, I left a detailed note, and notified Expedia about this awful room, and describing that I had left. Again, I did NOT stay in this horrible, filthy room (Room 105)!

It's a place to stay for people on the road

Posted Apr 25, 2017
It's not really a family hotel is a hotel to stay while you're on the road for cheap money
