Not worth it!

Posted Aug 1, 2015
The wifi wouldn't work! The pool was down for maintenance the entire time I stayed there. The staff was friendly when they were at the desk, which was seldom. The room felt like everything was crammed to one side. The free breakfast was a joke as well. The dining area was only two tables. I just don't recommend this place to anyone!

Do not go in the summer.

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Big room, comfortable bed.
Cons: Temperature of room and water temperature. Also, air conditioner needs to be moved so that it can be reached without standing on a chair.
Location: Just off I-80 in Omaha, NE. Nice zoo, shopping, restaurants nearby.
The room itself was not bad. Big room and comfortable bed. However, we arrived around 8 pm and the air conditioner had not been turned on. It had to be over 100 degrees in the room. Turned on air (needed chair to stand on because air conditioner is located near the ceiling, so it can't be reached) and left to eat hoping the room would cool down. Came back about an hour later and was still very hot. Did not really get comfortable until about 2 or 3 in the morning. Also, when taking the shower in the morning, the water would go back and forth from cold to hot. Could not keep water temperature regulated. I will not be back.

Had trouble communicating with the man at the front desk. First room we went to needed clean sheets so the clerk gave us a new room.

Fine hotel for a short stay

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: We liked the price, location, updated TVs, and the ability to request a mini fridge and microwave.
Cons: Room 111: Curtain rod sticks, filfthy toilet bowl, lights turn off when using outlet, most tv channels not clear, door sticks BAD, water is not hot.
Location: Walmart, Target, Starbucks, Scooters, Perkins, Family Fun Center, and much more are a close drive.
I have stayed here with a friend twice so far this summer. I can honestly say that we were quite comfortable here. The general area is kind of industrial, but it doesn't feel unsafe to us even at night, and we are two very small women. The hotel itself is kind of tucked away on a side street and the parking lot is very well lit at night. We stayed here because the price was affordable to us. The pool looks clean and was open both times we have stayed, although we did not use it. The staff doesn't seem to speak 100% fluent English, but were very friendly with their small talk and were quick to help us if we needed anything. We were pleased with the room we were assigned on our first stay, but I would advise to ask for a different room if you get room 111. It seemed to be in a state of disrepair in comparison to where we were placed last time. The beds are nothing special, but we slept pretty well. The rooms are modestly sized and have updated televisions with a decent selection of channels. Things are usually pretty quiet, with the exception of the cleaning staff doing their jobs in the mornings. They offer fresh coffee in the morning, have a couple vending machines and free ice. The place is a little run down, but for the price, I can't complain much. I would recommend this place for a quick stay of a couple nights. Washer & dryer were broken and the coffee station was not clean. The mini fridge and microwave we got were also pretty dirty.

Dirty floors, indoor pool very cold, coffee was awful & it was not kept up; missing stir sticks, no sugar, no creamer. Toilet seat very loose. Paper thin walls; could hear everything. Just an overall bad experience.

Great Value and Excellent Service

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: service, location, neatness and value for price paid
Cons: update the gps.
Location: walkable distance fast foods and regular restaurants , close to sams and walmart.
This hotel is newly renovated, have fllat screens and wooden floors. The beds were very comfy and rooms are very neat ,what else can you expect for a good night sleep? I had a very comfortable stay at a decent price.

not happy

Posted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
Poor customer service. No additional sheets or towels...they literally were washing and drying then giving them back. Towels were dirty. Continental breakfast was just coffee.parking is terrible. Indoor pool water was HOT!we were reserved for 3 nights and reception would always call me to advise it was check out time and my belongings were still in room! I have stayed at other Motel 6 but this one was just terrible.

Not modern decor...minimalist decor (and service)

Posted May 25, 2015 on Hotels
It was a bare bones room with everything but the hard kitchen-style chairs nailed down. Free wifi is for non-Apple computers only apparently. Couldn't connect all night long despite asking for help.
