“Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!”

“The staff we encountered, and another we asked for help with heating, were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful, although no fruit or brown bread was offered. Toast was offered, but with no suitable crockery. Not enough plug sockets in the bedroom and what were on offer, were not all usable ! Heating was provided in the room - although with no instructions - which proved necessary. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. Parking was plentiful. It was odd that a decaf coffee option……

“Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.”

“We only stayed the one night, so didnt get chance to use the facilities. Although we didnt have a dog, there was plenty of evidence that the hotel was very dog friendly. We had a very nice double room on the ground floor. It was clean and welcoming. There was a variety of chairs to sit on. Much more comfy than squatting on the side of the bed. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean with a lovely walk in shower and a bath. Lovely large white fluffy bath towels. Our stay came with a breakfast,……
