“The cabin was private on a mountain side, beautiful views. Family of six, plenty of room for all of us. Great deck overlooking the valley below, hot tub and bathrooms were great. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“This was a short get away just to relax. We couldn't believe how thoughtful our host was. She thought of everything, and I do mean everything! We had a wonderful stay and were very appreciative of how nice the cabin is. We loved it and will be booking again in the future! Perfect place to just go and be quiet. “We had the most wonderful weekend here! The location feels very remote, but that’s exactly what we were looking for. It was easy to get to Blackwater Falls, and other local must-see excursions. Dolly Sods was a bit further, but totally doable. The house was very clean, well stocked and the most comfortable beds! We highly recommend!!”

“We came to check out the Timberline and Canaan Valley ski resorts. Our cabin was a short drive to both and offered a quiet, private place to stay. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and the fireplace was very appreciated after a day on the slopes. We had one small issue with a broken shower curtain rod. The owner was very responsive and had it fixed the next day while we were out. I highly recommend this cabin.”

“This place is very nice. Views from the windows facing the southern valley are spectacular. Loved the area and the neighboring towns of Davis and Thomas. The property is nicely secluded on a gravel mountain road just off a paved road that is not busy. The hiking in the area was great. My only complaint is the check in process which included an extra 10 minute drive to a realty office where I received not a key but the four digit code to the door. This could have been emailed in my opinion.……

“The weather didn't cooperate with our plans, but the house did! It was perfect for our needs. We really appreciated the location and the view of the forest. ”

“Rustic but new, clean and comfortable place to stay that was very quiet and removed from only other rental along the gravel road. Outhouse was very clean, no bugs, and easy to use despite needing to go outside to the corner of the cabin. Hosts very responsive and helpful, would stay again. I would note that the Wifi is on the weaker side but I was able to do everything I needed. ”

The place has everything you might need and the customer service, both from the owner, and from the staff, will make you feel like you’ve all been long time friends. I cannot recommend this place enough and I can’t wait to be back!”
