“It should mention that the property is not manned and self-check in. I needed to call to find out the check in procedures. A Air con was there and functioning but the display of the remote was broken so it took time to work it out. An instruction should be available. The net curtain definitely needs washing.”

“This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. Staff are always welcoming, efficient, polite & helpful. Great rooms, comfy beds, brilliant minibar Restaurant & room service are excellent (yummy kumara fries). Good value stay. So convenient for the airport, just a short stroll. The obvious choice for a 4.5* stay in my opinion!”

“I liked the property it wasn't too bad. However all the windows in the room were jammed I couldn't get them opened. The couple that were opened when we arrived we couldn't get closed. No one came to clean the room so we had no towels and no toilet paper. But overall I was still positive about the stay and it was cheap. 😊”

“Loved our stay here! Awesome location in Auckland city and a short walk to amazing coffee shops and restaurants. The harbor is barely a ten minute walk away! The staff are really great too. One receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) was so so so sweet. I have an aversion to elevators and asked to use the stairs, but she personally went with me up the lift and made sure I was comfortable. “I was asked if I wanted red or white wine upon check in, later on when I didn’t receive any in the room, I told one of the front desk members about it and he assured me that they would send one up. By the time I checked out I still had not received the free bottle of wine that supposedly came with the reservation. Disappointed. ”

“We booked the hotel because it advertised a buffet breakfast, and the photos online looked fantastic. However, when we arrived for breakfast, there was no buffet available and we were told to order from the menu instead. (We had paid for the buffet at booking - as it was advertised) I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon, but it arrived with bacon instead. My wife ordered toast with bacon, but her meal arrived without any bacon. The staff took both meals back to the kitchen and appeared to……
