I reserved two rooms 3 mo in advance, upon arrival I’m told only one room was actually reserved. I was told the solution was for me to pay the going rate ($120 more than reservation amount) for the second room. I refused since I had email documentation showing 2 rooms reserved. I asked to speak with mgr, was told she called but there was no answer; but we never saw the clerk (Rossley) dial the phone. Rossley never had any solutions even after seeing the email with proof of more than one room reserved. She claimed she didn’t have any way to fix the issue, she also refused to help us by giving us a number for the mgr or anything else to defuse the situation. When we tried to take the available room they did have reserved (w plans to get ahold of the mgr & get the 2nd room squared away before bedtime), we were told we were no longer welcome to stay cuz our frustration was seen as “inappropriate.” We tried calling the 1-800 number where they tried to move our reservation to another location but they didn’t have rooms available. Our entire road trip was ruined due to needing to drive back home die to other hotels in the area also being booked up. While on the phone with motel 6 customer service, I was out in hold and when the representative acted as if my side of the convo was on mute, but it wasn’t. I was then hung up on and no one tried to call me back even after hearing the entire situation. HORRIBLE service all the way around!
