I enjoy staying in Marriot Grande Vista, but the fact that not every buidling houses a washer and dryer was terrible. Noone wants to walk across the whole compound with their laundry And garbage service is none. (You have to walk your own garbage up to the 2nd floors ) staff was always helpful with extra towels and extended our checkout till 12pm. I enjoy the multiple pools. Its too bad that the kid one on the other side isnt heated.

First of all as our receptionist said, there is nothing that works like a marriot here. So there is no cleaning only happens every 3 days. ( Im a marriot gold member) . I asked for extra towels, and got none twice. Until i talked to the manager Instead of this book an Airbnbā€¦ i even talked to a manager named ā€œalexā€ nothing helped. When I said what happened to marriot service, the answer was we are a vacation marriot not a marriot. Tell expedia to name it correctly on the site. Talked to expedia.. sorry nothing we can do. Recommendation book an airbnb dont get scammed by this ā€œmarriotā€

I will never stay at this property again. Not only were they trying to push a timeshare on me, which we did sit for the presentation. We were only expected to be there for 90 mins. We reached the 2 hour part and I could take being told I was choosing to spend my money wrong and if I made the right choices I could afford their timeshare then. Mind you they want 8200 down for a deposit. This was not my deciding factor though to not stay here ever again. The major issue that I had was that house keeping never knocked on the door, I was standing in the livingroom area of the villa we rented right near the door, there was never a knock, they used their keycard and walked right in and then asked if it was ok that they cleaned the room. The lack of privacy was ridiculous. Then when we were checking out no one even asked how our stay was or if we enjoyed ourselves. They printed the receipt, gave it me and said have a nice day. It doesnā€™t matter how nice a resort or hotel looks if you canā€™t teach your staff to be courteous and respectful (manners that we are taught as kids) then I want nothing to do with it. Plus you shouldnā€™t teach your staff to use sale tactics that tell a customer they are making the wrong choices in their life when it comes to their money. That is not right either.
