A well-appointed B&B about a kilometre from the ByWard Market area. Onsite parking is reasonably priced and the breakfasts top notch. We enjoyed our two day stay.

This is a lovely, comfortable, quiet hotel. It has a lot of curios and objects throughout which add to its ambience as a building which forms a real part of Ottawa’s history. If we had one quibble, it is that we had advised that one of our party is coeliac and yet almost every breakfast option included sausages which are not gluten-free. Overall, though, great. We enjoyed it very much.

The room was a decent size with seperate bathroom and the much needed A/C worked well to beat the jeat between outings to meet friends around Canada Day. The on-site parking was very handy, as was the bicycle lockup, and the breakfasts varied a little each day and were wonderful. Happy to recommend and stay again!

McGee’s Inn is a Bed and Breakfast which rates in the superior category. Our room was in the Egyptian style and was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the selection was varied. The staff, a family run operation were very helpful. If in Ottawa this will definitely be our choice again. We easily walked into downtown for all our sightseeing.

The room was perfect for me. Very clean, comfortable, and close to everything! The staff are the best; very courteous, helpful, and will do all they can to make sure you're comfortable and have what you need. I'm so glad I found the Auberge McGee! I'll definitely stay there when travelling to Ottawa again.

We love independent hotels rather than the chains. This hotel was wonderful, so cosy & everyone was really friendly. Breakfast was excellent, made to order. Only a short walk to everything, Byward Market about 15 mins, Parliment Hill about 20 mins. What I will say is that the hotel is on a lovely residential leafy street, however not far away & on the walk to the main areas there are a lot of homeless, some evidently on drugs. Whilst we felt a bit shocked at first, we didn't feel unsafe. Its very sad to see.

The property is unique being a 19th century Victorian walk-up three story house. The dining area is absolutely beautiful with great food and service. Room 19 was small yet had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend Inn McGee.

Enjoyed my 3-day stay very much. I had the room with a the screened sleeping porch. Very lovely in early morning and late evenings. Breakfasts are simple but delicious. Quiet location and convenient. Though not a great area immediately nearby. But within short walking distance to restaurants and Parliament buildings. Overall, an excellent place to stay near downtown Ottawa.
