“The property was clean, spacious, and generally well stocked. I travelled with 4 other women and found the unit was a good size for us. Unfortunately the check-in process was challenging. On our first night, we were surprised by a man walking all the way into our unit with his family looking for their own unit. Evidently, the same access code he received for his unit also unlocked our door. We found this quite unnerving and requested the host to change our access code, not knowing who else……

“This was the worst cottage experience we had. Upon arrival we noticed a blood stain on the mattress and pillow and messaged the owner but he couldn’t do anything until the next day so we slept on the couch. Next day we only got a mattress cover arnd 5 pm instead of he changing the mattress and pillow for us. So didn’t even use the pillow. Next day after while eating breakfast we heard a continuous gurgling sound from the bathroom. When I went to inspect it. The sewage was backing up from toilet……
