“Excellent for a short stay, one to three nights probably ideal. Good location to visit local sights. The Bayeux tapestry, the D Day beaches and the pretty town of Honfleur. “2 mins walk from the beach where there are some inflatable games for children. It is situated right in the shopping area with restaurants, cafés, ice creams and waffles parlours and boulangeries. Super clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay. Be aware that there is no elevator. ”

“I do stay here 3 times a year but it’s busy. I don’t expect to be remembered but I was and that is welcoming. Particularly good as a solo traveller. I feel looked after in le phare. Plus I enjoy the atmosphere and location when having supper. The rooms are very clean. ”

“Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house. Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors. Lovely quiet grounds to sit in, fairly easy 20 minute walk into the middle of Bayeux and breakfast plentiful buffet style thing. I have an EV so perfect for me, arrived with about 40% battery and filled up……

“We booked a sea view room, nice view. Pretty good location although still need an hour drive to Ohama Beach. We came in Sep so there weren't too many people, but heard the beach is packed of people during the summer. Breakfast varieties are adequate.”
