"Overall our stay was great, a few minor details would have made it amazing. A great was the location and property. The hotel is close to everything without being crowded or loud. Our room was nice and quiet. We were on the first floor and had our own private patio adjacent to the gazebo and pond. We learned upon arrival that our side of the hotel did not have elevator access. Not a terrible thing, just weren't prepared as people with mild mobility issues. Also the continental breakfast was not great. It was basically cereal, yogurt and bagels with an ill-working toaster that burnt them. The weekend version was better with a broader array of food. We got free breakfast, I would not have paid for it without disappointment. Another great was the staff. They were so nice, friendly and helpful. They answered questions with kindness that wasn't fake. They seemed to enjoy their job and take pride in it. Another great was our room. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable. The furnishings were simple and of good quality. It felt like a European manor. It would have been better with higher quality linens, ours were pilling and a bit rough. Also no housekeeping for duration of our 4 day stay. Got extra towels from desk. One final thing, we were awakened Saturday morning to a fire alarm. The alarm was going off but no staff on our floor for instructions or fire directions in the room. We went to the lobby and staff said they got locked out. Not good."

"Everything was as expected as we have stayed here numerous times..This was our first 2 night stay and our room was never cleaned or beds made on the full day that we were there…Overall it’s a safe bet but always second choice to the more recently renovated Doubletree"

"The room was nice and was clean. It would be nice to not walk into a frigid room! They had the a/c cranking and it was only in the low 60s outside! Waste of energy! They maybe could spend that energy on providing hot water in the bathroom. At night, the best i could get was lukewarm water. In the morning it was better and was hot enough for a shower finally. There was no microwave or coffee maker in the room. This is extremely inconvenient! I do not want to have to travel all the way to the lobby for a cup of coffee! Also, no way to warm anything if needed. The "breakfast" was a joke. Limited amount of fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, 1 type of yogurt, cereal, bagels, muffins. Thats it. I do not classify that as a breakfast in the least. Lastly, staff was pleasant but it would be nice if they were at least a little familiar with the area. They couldn't provide an answer to a very basic question! Overall, i will not stay here again. For the price there are hotels with nicer amenities."

"I booked a two queen-size room, but when checking in 11:45 pm, the front desk person said they don’t have a 2 queen-size room. They could only offer a king-size bed room, and she told me to go and look into a different hotel. I was really upset that that was what she told me. The service was unprofessional and rude. We took the room because we it was midnight and were exhausted and will deal with it the following day. My husband, 18 year son and I all squeezed in for the night. What really upset me was that the service was unprofessional and rude. Telling a customer to leave to find another hotel at midnight is unacceptable. "

"The room was clean. Breakast is bare min - bagels, waffles , no eggs or anything hot. Check in staff was not friendly while check out staff was good. Ice machine was not working and made a loud beeping sound throughout the night. It is right off the highway which is convenient."
