"At $89/night, their basic room is just a fantastic traveler deal. One thing that stood out in our trip up the coast was that the hotel was super-clean and there were no apologies about lack of staff/service. Nice amenities, comfortable beds, good black-out shades, nice breakfast. Also recommend dinner at the Blackfish Cafe (1 block walk) - everything on the menu is awesome! "

"Overall the property was nice for what it was and some renovations were being done to make things better. Our room was comfortable and clean although it smelled like cigarettes and the water pressure was not the greatest, and the two windows did not have screens; we were on thr second floor and that could be a danger for children. But, that being said, the two queen beds and their pillows were very comfortable and we were provided with plenty of towels and wash cloths. No paper cups in the room for the Keurig but plenty of coffee options! There were cups available in the lobby. All of the staff I encountered were beyond pleasant and helpful and made us feel welcome. All in all, it was a very wonderful stay. "
