“Clean home, great view, nice amenities ”

“This property had a few issues but nothing drastic. the floors were sticky, probably fabuloso that was not diluted enough. there had been 4 dogs in the apartment the day before we were there so there was some pet odor that they tried to cover up with some air freshener.One of the beds had a mattress that had a depression so everything rolled to the middle. we had the wrong address for the property so that we ended up at the office where fortunately there was someone still there to get us where……

“This is a wonderful property! Perfect for two people. Very nicely appointed in all ways and quiet. It is convenient to Palo Duro Canyon which was our goal. The views from the back patio are beautiful and with little light pollution, the stars are amazing. We drove and brought all needed supplies with us: food, drinks, hiking gear, etc. Unless you want to drive back and forth to Canyon, TX, it helps to be a little organized and gives you more time to enjoy the area. “Our stay at the Dove’s Rest Fortress was like a dream! This place was beyond stunning! The pictures really can’t capture how beautiful the view really is. The views from the back patio are just breathtaking! The home is spacious and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and lots of towels and blankets and toilet paper. Jeff is a super host! Very responsive and kind. He even had a bottle of champagne, and two keep-sake Dove Rest glasses waiting for us for a special occasion. John and Bambi ”
