“Our experience at the resort was disappointing mainly due to poor maintenance and lack of staff assistance. First, the swimming pool was not properly maintained. There were tadpoles and insects in the water, which made it obvious that the pool had not been cleaned for a long time. We were told to wait while they cleaned it, so we went to do another activity. “The pool wasn't working. They should at least notify the future guests before their stay or offer a discount. We were hoping to spend some quality time in the pool because of the weather, but we had to go to other resorts and spend extra money to enjoy one. The hotel is nice, but the rooms need maintenance.”

“Well.... it has a very nice pool. Expect to feel ignored, unimportant, and at times in the way. This place could be very nice, they just need to fix their attitude and realize who's actually paying to stay there. In the hands of another top tier hotel, this could be a fabulous place to stay. I'm not sure why ownership doesnt get it. Yes, the locals who have the money to stay there are more than willing to tolerate feeling like they should be treated poorly, but anyone else will feel it right...

“The resort was clean, and the views were beautiful. However, one major disappointment was that guests are not allowed to swim at the beach after 6:00 PM. Since the weather during the day can be extremely hot, many people would prefer to enjoy the beach later in the evening when it’s cooler. The biggest letdown, though, was the food. “When we arrived there was no record of our confirmation. The staff were unaware of our arrival. She had to call the owner to confirm. The owner neglected to inform them of our arrival. Such a disorganized way of doing business. Water supply was being turned off during the night. We have to wait for the staff to arrive in the AM to turn it on. Toilet was a big problem when you want to use that night ‘coz it won’t flush because there is no water supply. We had to leave the property a day...
