“Wonderful landscape and buildings!”

“Die Lage des Hotels, besonders die Außenanlage mit großem Salzwasser-Pool und separatem Kinderpool sind durchaus empfehlenswert. Es gibt auch vereinzelt freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Hotel und die Zimmer machen zunächst auch einen sauberen Eindruck. Die Handtücher im Bad werden täglich gewechselt- eine tägliche Reinigung gab es aber nicht. Badehandtücher muss man selbst an der Rezeption tauschen gehen. Der gesamte Gebäudekomplex, innen wie außen, hat den 1970er Stil nicht verlassen. Möbel und……

“2 toliet papers for 1 week for 3 people also no bin bags until 3rd day. Shower was mucky and dirty. Tap water to brush teeth was nasty and all 3 of us got sick. Communication with host was very difficult and we had to buy alot of stuff ourselfs e.g first 2 days we bought bin bags we bought toliet paper soap shower gel as it was jot provided. Towels were dirty as well.”

“Quarto sempre com o chão molhado/ húmido, autoclismo da wc parava de funcionar do nada e fazia imenso barulho. O restante do quarto em boas condições. Cartão de abertura da porta do quarto parava de abrir sendo este preciso ser novamente associado no balcão.”

“Everything was excellent apart from the check in at the hotel we waited half an hour to check in. They need more reception desks and staff to help their visitors, reception area is not big enough for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was ample but got a bit boring after a few days, not much fresh fruit.”

“Washing machine but no clothes horse! Cleaners were slap dash and didn’t speak the basics! Didn’t understand the word towel! Towels and bedding need to be updated they were tired. Gang of boys creating noise at 4am every morning. On a positive note the apartment was lovely and suitable for me as a wheelchair user. Very good location and the reception staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Will book again. Please sort clothes horse / drying rack”

“Worst nights sleep ever!! The beds were the biggest issue and the main reason I would not recommend Wyndham Residences Algarve Carvoeiro. We expected a new 4-star hotel experience, but the bed was unbelievably hard. Genuinely the hardest and most uncomfortable hotel bed we have ever slept on. There was no topper or anything to soften it, and my back still hurts. Our friends had a separate room and had the same experience. None of us slept well. The room also got extremely hot. The AC shuts off……

“Didn't spend a lot of time inside the hotel because there are so much to see in Algarve. Rooms are really spacious and clean with a huge balcony. A relaxing stay except the buffet dinner where you have to check in with the receptionist and then queue at a certain area to wait for seating. Food (not so hot) and ambiance are totally canteen-like. The next day we spent some more to eat at the Japanese restaurant next door which is good in terms of food and service - but you only get 15 Euro credit……

“We had a lovely stay here. The offstreet parking was a bonus! Super close to restaurants and the beach. A great place to start the seven hanging valleys trail walk. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful.Lots of recommendations. Try the restaurant across the street and get the seafood rice it was amazing.”
