"Everything was great!"

"We paid extra for an “upgraded” Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed, Patio, it is the smaller building to the right as you are driving up to the motel. We were so disappointed! First, there is no elevator, so you have to carry your bag up the stairs. The room looked old and run down and not very clean. The worst thing was the bed. It was so hard and you could actually feel the wood as you lay on the mattress. The pillows were flat and very uncomfortable. There was a spider that crawled out of the bedding. There were gnats in the room, near the sink. The toilet seat was dirty, thankfully I had some wet wipes, so I could clean it. You could hear the person in the room above us, walking around. There is no shelf in the shower, so I had to put my stuff on the shower floor, gross. The shower was very hard to find a point between scalding and cold. Staff was subpar at best. When we checked out, I told the guy about the bed, pillows and shower. He didn’t apologize or offer to make it right, he just said, I will let management know. I don’t understand how this hotel has such good reviews, our stay was awful, would not recommend! "

"They advertise a restaurant on site with bar but its not open. When we checked in they gave us a breakfast menu with various different made to order breakfasts. But then sat. morning we walk in and the lady says its a buffet breakfast, i ask if i pay her and she says later. It was scrambled eggs, sausage, you know the usual but then there was some other stuff. I asked my wife what it was and she said some kind of asian soup. It all tasted bland. The " orange juice" was tang. Then we get done and the lady runs up and tells us its $15 each, which was odd since the prices on the menu we got the highest plate was $15.95 for made to order. I then asked if the restaurant and bar would be open for dinner as we would be back that evening and she told us no that it was closed permanently. My question is why do they advertise it if its not open? Very disappointed. "

"Breakfast was delicious, they offer Starbucks coffee. Parking was safe and convenient entrance to every floor. "

"Parking: tight (but similar for the area). Condition: property is old. Room is fairly old somewhat worn condition. Bathroom shower poor--the shower head was not functioning properly. I would expect better from even a small motel. Small things like: no tissues, no hand soap. Service: poor. I waited long time for front desk person to arrive at front desk, and she was not nice. I won't stay there again unless I was desperate for a simple bed AND it was a fraction of the price. "

"First room I was given hadn’t been properly cleaned. Bathroom still had dirty towels around and used soaps on the sink and in shower. Bathroom trash hadn’t been emptied. Went back to front desk and was given another room. The new room was clean and smelled fresh. Hallways smelled. A cross between pet odor and fried food. Only stayed 2 nights and really only needed a place to sleep for my short trip to the area. Staff was friendly/helpful enough. Overall, about what I would expect for what I paid."
