I am sorry to say we were unable to stay here.
I was traveling with an elderly disabled friend. We looped around the block twice and had to call the front desk because there was no place to unload in front of the hotel being that there was no official loading/unloading zone and cars were paralleled parked up and down the street.
Parking was going to be $30 a night (Patriot Parking), and I was going to have to bring in all the luggage from afar to …actually I do not know how it would have been done.
My disabled friend could not have walked from the private parking lot, and I would have had to return several times for luggage….I am not a strong human.
The hotel did offer a wheelchair, but I would not have even been able to pick it up given the circumstances.
My “excellent” green smiley face goes to the young man I talked to on the phone, who offered a full refund when he saw that there would be no way to accommodate us in getting into the hotel under the circumstances.
I cannot speak to anything inside the hotel, but their front desk staff was very kind.
If I were 30 years younger, I could have done it…but I’m not.
