Fast and easy check in. Room is fine for the price, we find it to be clean and decent. The beds a little hard and there is no microwave. Overall good for one night stay.

This is an older hotel but is clean and the bed was very comfortable. We felt very safe. The office staff are friendly and accomodating. It is next to Arrowhead Mall and shopping and dining options are great. It's not the Ritz Carlton but it is convenient, clean and a great place to stay on a budget.

The room was good, AC worked great. The only thing I didn’t like was that no breakfast was included. When we checked in the staff said they had coffee and tea available early morning so when we went the next morning they said the machine was broken.

They have nice big clean rooms they take pride in the appearance of the property and the hotel staff was very accommodating! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

The hotel itself was not bad but the people staying in the hotel around us were unbelievably loud and obnoxious extremely late into the night. We came in from Wisconsin for my graduation so we had long nights and very early mornings so this made our stay very rough. However, the staff was incredibly nice!

When checking in I agreed to a $25 cleaning fee if we left the room messy dirty etc. But when getting to the room it was filthy, the one bed had sheets that had some blood stains on it which I didn't take notice to until later in the evening. Our feet were sticky from the floor being so dirty. I had to wipe my children's feet from them being completely black from the floor being dirty. A cloth chair in the corner was "green" but black from that being dirty never had a cleaning from what it seemed. The tv was not working. This was not even worth $50 I will never stay here again.

Apparently replacing towels isn't a thing at Hotel Serene; we used the same towels for our 4-day stay and had to request toilet paper and tissues. The "breakfast facilities" are an unfinished room with overt paint cans and cabinets without drawers and more egregiously, a non-functional juice machine. Don't advertise what is NOT usable. We've not experienced bed springs with such a distinct squeak but if that's your thing, they have it. A minimal experience with an above minimal cost.

I booked this last minute so am thankful we were able to get a room. The staff was nice. One of the reasons we booked it is because of the surrounding area. We got to the hotel and very quickly realized it is not a hotel for a family. I felt like it was a “hookup” hotel and a drug drop off/exchange place. Pretty sketchy. The beds were comfortable but I couldn’t shake the feeling the room was dirty. There was a pretty big dust ball on the wall by the tv, the lamp shade was broken and one of the mattresses had a brownish stain on it. Overall, would maybe stay here again if I didnt have my kids with me.
