North of Leh, Khardung La pass is gateway to Shyok and Nubra valley. At the elevation of 18,380 Ft, this is the highest motor able road in the world. The temperature there was -25 degree C and it was difficult to stay out in open for more than 10 minutes. The air is thin here and oxygen is less so lungs have to work harder. Loved every bit of the adventure and our journey driving on winding slushy road up to the top. I can't thank enough my brother who gave me a gift of this amazing trip to Ladakh last winter.
