“Charming boutique hotel—cozy, stylish, and well kept. The staff are genuinely courteous and attentive, offering helpful tips and warm service throughout. Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay.”

“Well signposted from the main road to know where to go and an easy parking lot to find. Julia checked me in and she was absolutely lovely. So helpful and kind. The room is fantastic and plenty of space. Bathroom was a good size and there was plenty of space for my bags. A small dining table with tea and coffee was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!! ”

From the amazing breakfast buffet to the evening cocktails everything was wonderful. The view is outstanding and the pool is amazing. “The experience of staying within walls is something else. Monemvasia has managed to capture and maintain the feel of an ancient fortification while giving one the comforts of modern civilization (indoor plumbing!) The Likinia Hotel is well located, about a 5 minute walk away from the main street and sufficiently separated. At times you even have the feeling that you have the whole fortress to yourself. Since the family room was the last available option, we had an entire apartment with 2……
