Keyless Entry Problems
The keypads for the home are out of date. We were locked out of the house for 14hrs including overnight. We called Vacasa and spoke with 4 different people who were unable to get maintenance on-site. At midnight we went to a hotel so we had somewhere to sleep. Keys to the house were not provided as stated and no lockbox outside the home. Vacasa was completely incapable of getting us back into the house and took no action.

Decent location, will NOT stay again
We had high hopes for this vacation and it did not come close to our expectations. Cleaning staff were still there at 430pm when check in was 4pm. They let us put stuff in refrigerator which was nice though. Beach access is a decent walk (maybe 3/4 mile) with a family fyi. Air conditioner did not work while we were there. Many complaints and reaching out to the property manager resulted in nobody fixing it the entire stay. I have photos of thermostat reading 80 degrees and reading "broken, high humidity" constantly. Miserable to sleep and especially miserable with a toddler who developed pneumonia while we were there. The stove never worked. We bought food to cook and was never able to do so. I YouTube and googled how to fix it but was never able to do so. Again, reached out to property manager without any response. The shower handles fell off the shower attachment. The downstairs toilet broke and nearly overflowed the first few minutes we were there. Again, reached out to owner/property manager and no response. Additionally, the glass front window had a note written on a paper towel that it was broken and not to touch it. A glass window! On the final night, I called Vrbo and made a formal complaint. The person had me email all my photos I had collected over the days with everything that broke or didn't work. I have not heard back STILL to this day on any type of compensation. I have used VRBO many times over the years and have never had such a terrible experience. Responses were never answered. I understand things break sometimes like in any house, but this was excessive and seemed to happen immediately upon entering. I actually liked the house when looking at it, but I do NOT recommend this property for the lack of response for things gone wrong.

Great views but disappointing stay with multiple issues
The property is situated on a cliff facing the ocean with great views and beautiful sunrises. House is only 3-4 years old, and has an open layout with newer appliances. Unfortunately, there were multiple issues, many of which were not rectified during our 2-week stay by Vacasa, the management company: 1) The Jenn-Air stove did not work and there were hot plates provided for cooking (a problem known prior to our arrival, but not disclosed during our on boarding process); 2) The downstairs bathroom flush and the kitchen faucet worked intermittently; 3) The kitchen was sparsely equipped and the dishwasher did not clean properly; 4) Two overflowing, smelly garbage containers from the prior guests were left in the garage for us to dispose; 5) Inadequate fire alarm system and potential code violations; 6) Only 1 TV in the entire house; and 7) No keypad for house access and only 1 house key for multiple guests. In short, this was an uncomfortable stay during the pandemic, costing more money and creating significant inconvenience. We made these reservations based on Vacasa's reputation and our previous experience with them. Unfortunately the local Vacasa team did not live up to the high standards expected from a property of this caliber. Until these issues are fixed, we'd strongly recommend against renting this house.

Sea View Disappointment
The house was very big and had great views of the ocean however we were very disappointed that the house was not cleaned before our stay, especially during a pandemic. There was people’s trash still in the cans, people’s underwear/swimsuits from another guest on the floor in a bedroom, and peoples used masks throughout the house. The stove top also didn’t work and we were provided with external burners that short circuited when trying to use two at once. We rented this house with towels included however they only provided enough towels for 4 people instead of six. We also couldn’t get into the house for a long time due to someone locking the garage doors toplock so the code wouldn’t work and the backup key taking a long time to find. Overall, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the house, the function-ability of the stove and the lack of responsiveness from local management. We would not recommend someone staying here unless there was better care kept to the property.

Everything looks nice in the pictures, but is actually broken, poor quality, or annoying. It’s like no one has actually tried to live here. Check in — the cleaners ran 2 hours behind, so after a 4 hour drive with little kids, we couldn’t actually check in bc they were still cleaning the house. The security system - the alarm for this house is ridiculous. It went off while we were checking in. It’s super loud and scary. My kids were terrified. It went off again while we were putting our kids to bed (they were now thoroughly scared of the house and wanted to go home). It went off A THIRD TIME at 2AM. Finally someone came to the house the next day and had to disable the entire system. They hung up battery operated smoke and CO alarms (which fell off the ceilings randomly for the next few days, once again scaring the hell out of us and our kids). The kitchen — this kitchen may look nice, but it is not useful or practical. Upon arriving, we were informed that the refrigerator was not working (they fixed it on day 3). The fancy induction stovetop had 2 operational burners out of 5 (after they tried to fix it, none of the burners worked, so we had to use an electric hot plate for all our cooking). And if you have kids, FYI there are no kid-friendly dishes, cups, etc. Also, for adults, there are only plastic wine glasses. OH, and if you try to use the coffee maker and toaster at the same time (like you might when, I don’t know, cooking breakfast), you will trip the circuit breaker. At one point, none of the outlets in the kitchen worked. So we had to make coffee in the dining room and cook eggs outside on the hot plate. The basement is locked so we had to wait a day for someone to come flip the breakers back on. Porch doors — yknow those pictures of the beautiful porch doors that open wide with a nice view of the ocean? The manual literally tells you NOT to open them. We didn’t bother even trying anyway, because we were so paranoid that the alarm was going to go off again. Beach towels — they gave us a bunch, but many were dirty and had long hairs on them. Paper products — we had to ask for extra toilet paper and paper towels. I get trying to save money and keep your margins up, I really do. But skimping on things like paper products (and getting the tissue-paper-like poor quality stuff to boot) is just lame. Just to be fair, the Pros: beautiful view, clean house, nice bathrooms, 10-15 min walk to the beach.
