"Blue collar construction worker become teacher review follows. The property is old, but has a very tasteful renovation, and not just lipstick on a pig. The fascia board is all new, some 2nd story walkway supports have been added, and new anti-slip staircases were added in place of the likely circa 1960 concrete steps. New vinyl windows are in place and reduce any noises well. The interior has new carpet, paint, countertops and furniture. If I owned this property, this is exactly what I would have done with it. Price was affordable, service was spartan but totally sufficient, and the property was clean. I love this place! "

"Family friendly resort with lots of things to do. We got to see the fireworks up close during 4th of July weekend. Facilities are a bit dated but very well maintained. Only downside is not a lot of restaurant options nearby."

"Home is well-appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. All modern conveniences available for use - coffee maker, microwave, split air/heaters, washer & dryer. Clear, quick communication with the host, easily accessed the property at check in. Our favorite feature was the deck in back, over looking the water, where we watched ferries crossing, eagles & geese hunting for food and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and hope to return soon for another stay!"
