“Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Parking was well organised. Breakfast was well catered for. Room was very nice, a good size and nicely decorated with a big bathroom. Good location and easy to walk to town etc. so didn't need the car once we arrived. No mention on booking of the work going on at the hotel, which would be good to have known.”

“IWe liked everything about hotel but the restaurant in the evening 1.lighting very dark 2.Meals are without vegetables which were add ons /even though the meals were pricey enough without them We would like to see lighting addressed and meals to be complete and we thought a A price for one course or two courses or three complete with vegetables would have been a more generous and expectable form of enhancing our stay and likelihood of ourselves returning to otherwise a most lovely family……

“I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. We arrived about 4pm, unpacked the car and had a Quick Look……

“A lovey 300 year old cottage. Beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean. A full English breakfast sets you up for the day. Paula and Simon are wonderful hosts, very welcoming. We felt like we were visiting friends. Well located for getting around the area, Eden project and popular beaches and harbours a short distance away. ”

“Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience.”

“Lovely hotel set right next to the harbour and beach. Staff are really friendly, food is great too and reasonably priced. Breakfast very good too. ”

“Gymn and facilities excellent. Very friendly reception upon arrival and we asked for a quieter room and were provided with that. Left alone until we went out each day and room replenished and clean when back.”
