"I probably won’t stay there again "

"Very close to drop off and security to access DCA and Disneyland, where you just need to cross the street and walk for about 5-10 min, depending on your pace. Hotel is more of a motel setup with doors facing out to a open hallway. Beds were comfortable and room looked to be well maintained or recently refurbished. There was a slight gap between the floor and entry door, so you may want to block it with a rolled towel or something if you're on the geound floor to keep any small critters/bugs out. The restaurants right outside the hotel were good and convenient."

"Staff was wonderful and understanding after we had to book with them last minute after an unexpected family emergency. The property looks like a converted apartment complex and the 2 level loft we had reflected that. The property is not new, but definitely well cared for. Our room was clean and the paint, bathrooms, and carpeting indicated a recent refresh. The stove, fridge, and microwave were in good condition, and basic cutlery, dishes, cooking utensils, and pots and pans were available. The pool was unexpectedly closed for refurb but front desk staff had made arrangements with a neighboring hotel to use their pool. Breakfast was basic but had enough variety like hot items, pastries, and waffle making stations. Hotel is well positioned for a 10 min walk to Disneyland and short drive to grocery stores, Target, or local restaurants. Will definitely book here again for my next Disney trip."

"The stay was wonderful until being awoken at 6:30 am Saturday morning from a hotel staff member power washing the bricks in the front driveway. My room was on the second floor and was just above where the power washing was occurring. Why the drive needed to be cleaned on a Saturday morning when the hotel was full of people and not done on a day when the hotel wasn't as full - say a Monday or Tuesday morning. If you stay at this hotel, make sure your room is nowhere near the front driveway unless you plan to not sleep in."

"Very convenient for a one night stay for Disneyland. Room was clean and updated. We were given an upgrade which we didn’t need but was very nice. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. Breakfast was included and very decent. Didn’t appreciate the $31 per night parking fee but thst seems to be customary in this area."

"We chose the HoJo on South Harbor specifically for the Disneyland trip, and it waa exactly what we needed. The 8-minute walk to the Disneyland Resort entrance is no exaggeration — it’s genuinely one of the closest hotels to the parks without paying Disneyland hotel prices. We booked the Baby Shark themed bunk bed room, and our daughter was absolutely thrilled with it. It’s a clever touch that gets the kids excited about the hotel itself, not just the destination. The bunk bed gave her a sense of her own space and she talked about it as much as the rides. The on-site Castaway Cove water playground features a 30-foot pirate ship with drench buckets, slides, and water cannons — a solid bonus for families, especially as a wind-down option after a long park day. The rooms include a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker , which is genuinely useful when you’re trying to manage snacks and early morning logistics with kids. Location is the headline selling point here. It’s a designated Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel with no shuttle needed — you walk, which saves time and money compared to off-site hotels running shuttles. It’s not a luxury property — don’t come in expecting that. But for a family focused on maximizing park time with a comfortable, well-located base, it punches well above its price point. Bottom line: Smart choice for a Disneyland trip with kids. Themed rooms are a genuine hit with little ones, the walk to the park is as short as advertised."
