"Arrived and was allowed to check in early but only with an automated machine and the check in process was handled with a video operator from China. The process was relatively simple the general overall area of the hotel and the parking area is a bit rundown and parking lot is not in real good shape noise from the freeway is rather loud at times. People coming and going in the evening hours with children, or rather noisy decent location for shopping and food overall for the low price was not a bad stay"

"Someone before us had a cat and the cat peed all over the leather chair. It was awful. They moved us only to find smoking cigarettes next door. No ac or fan in the bathroom worked either. "

"It was an absolute gem. Felt like its own little oasis. The staff was so friendly and wonderful. The only things I didn’t like was the bed was super hard and tall along w the toilet being too tall and when staff would be up cleaning or ppl would be talking it sounded like they were in our hotel room with us and woke us up several times. "I stayed at Best Western Diamond Bar Hotel & Suites for one night (Mar 7–8). My experience was very disappointing due to misleading photos, room mismatch, and customer service response. The room I received did not match the room type I booked online. As soon as I noticed the difference, I immediately returned to the front desk to explain the issue. The staff told me she could not change the room because I had already entered it. I explained that there would be no way to verify the room type without first going inside. I showed her my reservation confirmation and the room photos from the booking, but she still refused to change the room. She also claimed that all the rooms in the hotel were the same, which did not match what I saw. Another concern is that the photos online suggest the rooms and bathroom have been remodeled. However, bathroom fixtures were old and worn, and the condition did not appear clean. When I asked if a manager could assist, I was told the manager was not on site and that a note would be left for the next day. Since I was only staying for one night, this did not resolve the issue. No alternative solution was offered. The room did not match my reservation, and the situation could not be resolved. I checked out within about an hour of checking in. Travelers should be aware that the room they receive may not match the photos shown online, and the front desk may not be able to assist if there is a problem."
