“This was the dirtiest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We asked to switch rooms because I found hair, debris and a mini flashlight in the bed upon arrival. When we switched rooms we were moved to a room with huge black stains on the carpet, food in the fridge and a delightful smell of smoke and urine. The elevator was broken so we took the stairs and no one cleaned up the vomit in the stairwell for over 24hrs. We also found pills on the floor, and one in the bed (in the new room). “Perfect location ”

“The character of the property was excellent although you park at the rear and enter from the rear so you don’t see the full glory of the plantation house. Lovely courtyard area. A traditionalBreakfast of fresh fruit eggs, biscuit and meat gravy. Vegetarian option just one biscuit one egg. Good quality hairdryer and iron there is also a fridge and microwave. ”

“In April 2026 this hotel is brand new and pristine. Fantastic place to stay. Worth noting that this one is in Scott, not in Lafayette proper. There is another one in Lafayette proper.”

“This property is cute and charming, and I would have loved to give it a 10/10. I’ll start with the positives. The location is ideal—very central and within a 10-minute drive to all the main spots. The home has great natural light and was very clean.I do want to note (for anyone who is scent-sensitive) that the cleaning products used in the kitchen cabinets were quite strong, and the dishes smelled like cleaner. We hand-washed everything before use. This is a personal sensitivity and not……
