“The room was not cleaned daily. I had to request cleaning, towel replace and trash removal. The plumbing in the bathtub did not drain properly and the elevator did not work properly. The breakfast and cafeteria staff was very good. The staff at the front desk was helpful.”

“The newly renovated rooms are amazingly nice ! The shower level and bed comfort will have you in chokehold. The peace and quiet will make your rest even better. Very comfortable big king size bed and TV on the swivel. Impressive stay! The comfort just can't be beat anywhere in the area. It's no disappoint!”

“I'm not sure why this property has such a low rating. I thought it was just fine. Yes, its a little dated but its not like 1990's dated.... It was clean, quiet and I felt safe. Parking was ample. The breakfast was good. I go to Vicksburg twice a year for business and this is my first time staying here. I have stayed at other hotels in the area with higher ratings and they were awful. I'd absolutely stay here again.”

“We chose this property because as they continue to restore it, they want to maintain the original house just adding the modern amenities. The house is original and the staff has such an amazing love for and knowledge of the property and its history. We will return if we visit Vicksburg again!”
