“I had such a wonderful time at the Baer House! LaTonya, the house manager, treated me like royalty--and a good friend. The home is magnificent and not just cared for but loved. I would highly recommend staying here. It surpassed my expectations! Thank you, everyone, for making me feel at home.”

“Staff was friendly, room was clean, and beds were comfy! We also enjoyed the free breakfast!”

“The best part of my stay was the staff. They definitely had Southern Hospitality.”

“This place is terrible. The room was dirty. It smelled like musty, mildew, and mold. There was mold or mildew on the closet door. The lock on the front door was loose. Screws are falling out. The floors were dirty like they’ve never been vacuumed. The lamps were broken, rusted, and falling apart. Everything about this place was disgusting. Do not go here. We unfortunately had to stay. It was late at night. I have a toddler and there were no other options. We slept on top of the covers and left……

“The curtain over the window. Shredded as inl lowered it. Definately dry rotted.”

“Parking was plentiful in front of the hotel. The hotel is connected to the casino via a connecting walkway, but it is only open on weekends thus you have to walk outside to enter the casino during the week. This hotel is roughly 30+ years but appears to have been remodeled, and our room was clean and comfortable. The casino is small but has a good selection of games and tables. The staff at both the hotel and casino were very friendly.”

“The room was excellent, extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was good. The grounds were in somewhat of disrepair but it looked as if they were in the process of making repairs. It had what I needed for a good night sleep which was all that I wanted at the time.”

“Lights were out when we arrived and staff was not accommodating or cordial.”

“It was not very clean. They used to provide a better breakfast, with scrambled eggs/ sausage/bacon.”
