“What a beautiful place to stay . The only room above a fully renovated pub. Both the room and the pub are beautifully done. It's a large spacious room . The classic cast iron slipper foot tub in the middle of the room was used everyday. Great way to wind down. A convenience store is across the street so is parking . Great food downstairs in the pub and the staff couldn't have been nicer. If Southerndown is on your radar . This is the spot!”

“What I did like was ease of parking outside. What I didn't like was that I wasn't made aware that the room was in the back garden, having to walk past the smelly bins to the apartment, I could not open the windows because of this. the light switch for the upstairs bedroom, was no way near the bedroom, it was located on the stairs - so you cannot switch off once you're in the bedroom!, and there is only 1 working electricity socket in the bedroom too...very dangerous.”

“Perfectly nice and clean little apartment but was seriously let down by the shower not working and the hot water running out/not working immediately when trying to run a bath.”

“We had such a lovely time during our stay here. The property itself was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. There were games and stuff to do at the property as well.The area was nice, if you’re willing to travel a little further from it I would say there is plenty to do nearby as well! I recommend Henrhyd Falls, the beach isn’t too far either! Would stay again, thankyou for hosting us!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at The Peak! Sarah responded quickly. After our stay we thought we had forgotten something (which we found later) but Sarah was helpful then too by asking cleaners if they found anything. I love the fact that dogs are allowed, and the Afan Valley views are absolutely gorgeous! It has all the amenities of home (including a private washer/dryer) which is really nice! Thank you for the wonderful experience and we do hope to check out the Cornish peak one day 😃. God...

“I stayed 6 nights at the begining of January, and very enjoyed my stay. The apartment is big, bright, update and very well equiped. Enjoyed the heating and washer/dryer as it was rainy all along. It is close enough to walk into the center, with a few grocery shops and food options around. Would definitely stay again.”
