“Ideal room for a couples nights in the centre of town. Had everything we needed. Only downfall was the shower and cooker. Shower pressure and temperature wasn’t good. Kept going from scolding hot to freezing cold with very little pressure. The cooker control knobs did not work properly and at one point wouldn’t turn off (very dangerous) so we had to unplug from the wall. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. ”

“We have been returning customers for over twenty years. However, this time we were put in a room which we felt was too small and we considered inadequate. There was no room to put our suitcases, there was no wardrobe and the short rail provided had only two hangers. There was no easy chair where one could sit and read, also the room was too hot and the thermostatic valves on the radiators did not work. We were booked and paid for three nights, but left after only two. Sadly we are very unlikely……

“Excellent bed, good room (no. 8) and quiet at the back. Bathroom needs work, a heated towel rail would be good to be able to dry the towels. Window frames were very dirty on the inside.”
