"We always stay here when we ate in town. We love the location, cleanliness, breakfast, and staff friendliness. There is also a great bar and grill on site that often has entertainment on weekends. I highly recommend this hotel."

"My boyfriend and I stayed here during our weekend getaway. Our room was clean and ready early for us, we asked if we could have a early check-in and the manager reached out to us stating we could. The nice lady that was cleaning up the rooms and property, happily greeted us and showed us to our room. The air worked great, we had hot days while we were there and much needed to come "home" to. I can't say enough about the view, it was breathtaking. Waking up in the morning to see the water and sunrise, beautiful. I think being up that high and overlooking the water was the real treat! Much needed tranquility for us both, we didn't want to leave! If I could recommend a place to eat, Driftwood Diner, we ate there 3 times! So yummy! We will be back!"

"We received a nice greeting from the night manager when we arrived. He was set to give us a room on the second floor. When we told him we had a cooler, luggage, and other things to carry he instead gave us a room on the first floor. the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The air conditioner was fairly quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The TV was nice and large. The room was well stocked and everything in the room worked. Both the evening and morning managers were very nice, helpful, and eager to please. The breakfast was good and included waffles, scrambled egg patties, sausage, and fresh biscuits that worked well together to make a nice breakfast sandwich, if desired."

Eagles Nest- River View Cabin

"we enjoyed our family all being together. the bonus space over the garage was very nice. photos didn't accurately show size of yard, closeness of road. The train and road traffic was quite loud. few screens needing replacing, dishwasher was not attatched to counter top, fell forward when opening. beautiful view of Missisippi River and Eagles. Great selection of pots/pans and kithen dishes."
