Prickly Bay Beach Tours

This is a hidden gem. Our room was great and we enjoyed hearing the waves and taking a dip in the pool. Meals were wonderful and plentiful. All in all, a great experience!

Common areas were nice and staff was generally courteous. Breakfast choices were limited but food was passable. Lunch menu and preparation was best of the three meals. Supper left a lot to be desired. Poor selection badly prepared. Would not recommend the all inclusive option for this resort. The grounds were very nice. The pool is tiny and at times the water was cloudy, not at all inviting. The room was clean but furnishings were tired. The toilet flush lever had to be held down to work. The resort fell short in a number of areas, particularly the restaurant variety and preparation. Rooms need a major refresh. Staff was generally very pleasant and accomodating.

The spa was nice. All the staff throughout the resort were friendly, they ensured they greeted you and asked if you needed anything. Tanisha from the Kids Club was so nice and welcoming to our toddler. The food could have been better (ants were found on bread & a drink I ordered, hair was found in food and on plates, glasses were dirty). The restaurants that require reservations didn’t offer much variety. Fridge room was not cold. Sodas/juices were watered down in the buffet. A big bug (what looked like a big roach) was spotted in the theater area. I didn’t like that the resort was kid friendly but the restaurant didn’t offer plastic cups for kids in the dining area. There was a couple times we ordered from Nibles and Room Service and the food was either cold or incorrect. The pools was regular, nothing fancy; there was a splash pad for kids. Not too much entertainment during the day. It was my birthday and I was looking forward to something a little special on that day like Riu did for my birthday but I returned to 1 balloon on my door. I thought it was cute that at arrival their was a sash on the door that said HBD though. I got a massage which was nice and relaxing. But it started 25 mins late. Overall, personally I wouldn’t return to this resort again. But it’s not the worst.
